Welcome to my website! I’d like to introduce myself, tell you what I do, describe how it’s unique in the worlds of both real estate sales and elder care choices, and invite you to join me in a productive and fun collaboration.

I founded and operated Nadine Krasnow Real Estate from 1979 to 1993, in Newton, MA. During that time, I was honored by Boston Magazine with a “Best of Boston” Realtor award, in recognition of remarkable customer service.

When assisted living was licensed in Massachusetts in 1993, I closed my real estate office to specialize in operations, sales and marketing for retirement communities, becoming Corporate Director of Marketing and Sales for Newton Senior Living, as well as Executive Director for communities in New England and the mid-Atlantic.

In 2009, I re-opened my Falmouth real estate business as a concierge agency, specializing in the Upper Cape, a charming and beautiful Cape Cod area. Despite the most difficult market in decades, I was pleased to find that in 1st quarter of 2011, I was the #1 agent in Falmouth for closed transactions, according to the Cape and Islands Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service.

Having recently moved to the condo community of The Villages at Brookside on beautiful Cape Cod, I have expanded the scope of my practice to include resales in this lovely neighborhood.

Being the owner of the office offers enormous advantages to both buyers and sellers. I make all the decisions, including the important ones such as commission proposals and advertising schedules.

Additionally, I offer elder care consulting services as a separate business. During my 16 years in operations and sales/marketing in senior housing , it bothered me immensely to see perspective residents and/or their loved ones come to tour my communities, and not know what to look for, how to understand what they were seeing, or what questions to ask. Unlike prior moves in anyone’s life, this one is particularly difficult to undo once it’s been done. The only knowledgeable advocate for the consumer that I met was the occasional geriatric care manager, but even s/he had a limited understanding of the industry, nor did they specialize in knowing which community would really be the right place.

It very quickly became my commitment and my passion to help guide people faced with this kind of a decision. I specialize only in the next step, i.e., in which setting elderly care will take place. Depending on the individuals, I walk them through whatever option they choose.
